Belle Park Baptist Church is a part of the Southern Baptist Convention and fully supports and affirms the beliefs found in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 which can be read in its entirety at bfm.sbc.net.

We believe that Jesus of Nazareth was the Messiah, God become man; that he was born of the virgin, Mary, died on the cross to pay the price of every man’s sin, and rose from the grave three days later demonstrating his power over death and the hope we can have in him if we surrender to his lordship in our lives. Forty days after his resurrection He ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God. He then sent the Holy Spirit of God to stir the hearts of the lost in order to draw them to salvation and fill the hearts and minds of believers, giving them strength, hope, understanding, leadership, and bringing them under conviction when necessary.

We believe that the bible is God’s Holy Word to mankind, is inerrant, infallible, and is to be used for instruction, correction, encouragement, and conviction of sin.
